Blooming your dye: Take a small amount of dye and add enough water to dissolve the dye powder. Stir or swirl to assist dissolving. You can also add dye powder to a medium and use a spray bottle to spray water onto powder to bring out the brilliant dye color. You then pour the dissolved dye into the baking soda and mix thoroughly until it’s evenly colored.
The dye in powder form might look different from the dissolved dye in water. The most accurate test of what the dye looks like would be in water.
Ideal for bath bombs, nail polish, bath salt, liquid soap melt and pour soap, etc.
