    Cornflower has skin-soothing properties and is anti-inflammatory, astringent, free radical scavenging and moisturizing.  It is used in cosmetic applications as an additive in shampoos for grey hair to achieve a blue shimmer and in skin care preparations for sensitive skin.

    The plant is called cornflower because it naturally occurs near field crops, namely corn. Mostly used in bath bombs, bath salts, potpourri and to decorate soap.

    Great addition to hair products. Make in infusion as follows:  Boil distilled water (enough for 1 cup) and add 2 TBSP each  of dried nettle leaf and horsetail leaf

    Horestail is high in silica and excellent for hair supporting hair growth.

    Nettle is Rich in iron and vitamins A, C and K plus potassium and magnesium. It is often used in natural hair products and helps stimulate hair growth

    Let the herbs sit in the water for at least 10 minutes or until water cools. Strain the herbs out and use the water in your water phase of shampoo or conditioner.
