Polyolefin unperforated shrink bags

The best way to preserve soap is to wrap if after a good cure. Less oxygen equals less oxidation giving it a much longer shelf life.

  • This shrink bag is suitable for wrapping small books, essential oil dropper bottles, and bath bombs
  • Can be used for shrinking a wide variety of small products
  • Shrink bags can help prevent nicks, dents, and spoil of your own things
  • The bag is transparent so that you can see the details of lovely things in the bag
  • Shrink up quickly with a heat gun or hair dryer and sealer

Trick:  When heat sealing your soap, leave about half an inch extra slack to compensate for shrinkage, use a low setting on the heat gun, hit the seams first, and hold the heat gun farther away then you think you should. Wearing cotton gloves helps with your production.

Is the shrink bag has opening in two sides? I want a shrink bag that is open at the top and at the bottom so that people can smell the soap without tearing the bag.

Bought some of these but they don't want to shrink up using a hair dryer. Do I need a heat gun maybe? Any suggestions?

Hair dyers can be used but results will vary based on the quality and heat output of the individual appliance. It is recommended to use a heat gun. If a heat gun is not available, some people have had luck melting the bag shut and then cooking in the oven on a low temperature for a few minutes
