This clay is highly efficient at drawing oils and toxins from the skin, therefore use this clay for oily skin and hair types. Limit to 1 application per week. Do not use for sensitive or dry skin types. One of our customers claims it is great in soap 1 tsp per pound of soap, increases the foamy lather.  That goes for melt and pour and soap from scratch.
 Try this great 
french Green Clay with Green Tea Mask   1 tablespoon of clay 1 teaspoon of green tea powder to 2 tablespoons of water.  Mix until completly blended.  Apply to face and leave for approx. 10 minutes.  Clean off with tepid water, aloe gel or hydrosols.

It can also be used in soaps (about 1 Tablespoon per lb of soap) and body and foot powders. Its unique composition includes Iron, Silica, Aluminum, Magnesium, Calcium, Titanium, Sodium and Potassium. French Green Clay is prepared for the commercial market by a process of sun-drying and crushing. After the clay has been mined, it is spread in the sun to remove excess water. It is then ground by large hydraulic crushers and micronized, or finely pulverized. The last stage in the process is a final period of sun-drying to remove the last traces of water. It absorbs and removes impurities from the skin, stimulating blood flow to create healthy and glowing skin. When prepared as a mask, the clay dries on the skin causing pores to tighten and the skin to feel firm, toned and refreshed. French Green Clay can be used in poultices to treat arthritis, sore muscles, and sprains; in ready-to-use pastes for application to cuts, bruises, insect bites, stings, and minor burns; and mineral baths for stress relief. 
Caution should be exercised as clays may stain fabric.
